However, most of the group seemed to make up while filming season 8, based on group pictures that were taken throughout the summer. The same can’t be said for Lindsay and Carl, who ultimately broke up towards the end of filming after getting engaged in August 2022. "I feel it’s important to share what I have been going through the past seven weeks with becoming a mom and now this," she wrote in an Instagram post at the time (in part). Her parents left their family home in New York last summer  to pursue a new life for themselves in Texas. Feeling abandoned, she leans on her new friends in the house for support, but finds letting her guard down is harder than she expected. This summer Kyle is refreshed and excited to send it with his friends in the Hamptons. He’s turning 40 and although age is just a number, the reality of this milestone birthday is starting to hit him.

As early as the eighteenth century, freed slaves began purchasing land there. Bria entered the summer house fresh off a move from New York to Germany, where her boyfriend resides. She’s a fashionista who works hard to maintain her lifestyle, despite her skeptics. "Jesse Solomon is single and always ready to mingle! Working in Investor Relations and a veteran of the Hamptons summer and standing tall at 6'5", he’s never had an issue with the ladies and doesn’t plan to start now, regardless of their relationship status. With a big milestone coming up at the end of summer, Jesse opens up to his new friends and finds solace in their support."

Andrea Denver and Winter House’s Kory Keefer will also spend some time with the gang throughout the summer. Additionally, fans will get to see Paige and Craig navigate their long-distance romance. While the Southern Charm star said he wanted Paige, who’s based in New York City, to visit him more in Charleston, South Carolina, she seemed content with their current arrangement. Another storyline teased in the trailer follows Amanda and Kyle’s struggle to become pregnant. "To get engaged right now would be crazy," Danielle told her costars behind Lindsay’s back.

That said, some friends do stick around — never leave us, Lindsay Hubbard! As Chance the Rapper once said, "Summer friends don't stay" and, as the cast of Grease added, "It turned colder, that's where it ends." Quintessential party girl Shanice Henderson (Phoenix) is ready to turn-up this summer, but when she finds out someone in the house is spreading rumors about her past, things go left.

Cast members Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, Danielle Olivera, and Gabby Prescod will all return for Season 8 of Summer House.

The trailer for season 7 of Summer House dropped on January 12, 2023. Samantha Feher, Mya Allen and Chris Leoni will reportedly be featured in part-time roles. The Summer House cast went into production on the series’ eighth season earlier this week, but Lindsay Hubbard and her fiance, Carl Radke, were hundreds of miles away, celebrating the Fourth of July holiday in Washington, D.C. Craig and Kory have been the best of friends since they were fraternity brothers at the College of Charleston, while Paige and Sam became pals during the summer. "I haven’t had a boyfriend in so long... Kory and I made it official a little while ago, and [we've] just been enjoying being in a relationship."

Closing on a House: How Long It Takes, What to Expect

how long does closing on a house take

While wire transfers are largely safe, scams targeting the real estate industry (and home buyers) do exist. Schedule the home inspection as soon as possible after the purchase agreement is signed. If the inspector needs to refer you to a specialist for an additional inspection (for example, to focus on the wiring in an older home), you’ll have plenty of time to get that done. Scheduling early will also give the seller more time to complete any necessary repairs. If possible, you'll want to attend the inspection—it can be a great way to familiarize yourself with your new home.

A few days beforehand, you should receive a closing disclosure that breaks down all the final details of your loan and payment amounts. Be sure to bring the required identification and methods of payment (typically a certified or cashier’s check) with you to the closing table. If everything goes according to plan, the process takes a few hours or less.

Title insurance is indemnity insurance that protects the holder from financial loss sustained from defects in a title to a property. It protects real estate owners and lenders against loss or damage stemming from liens, encumbrances, or title defects. Because it could indicate you borrowed money that you’ll have to repay, which will affect the DTI you qualified for the loan with. A large withdrawal could mean you won’t have enough cash to close or you won’t have the required cash reserves after closing. Sometimes the title search company can quickly clear up any problems with the title that could prevent you from having undisputed ownership.

Keep in mind that closing can easily go over its allotted time if you aren’t prepared before you go. Show up to closing with valid personal identification, such as a passport or driver’s license, a copy of your Closing Disclosure and a certified cashier’s check to cover closing costs. With careful organization and clear communication between the buyer, seller and lender, you can speed up the closing process, potentially saving you and the seller money and saving everyone unnecessary anxiety.

Contact your loan officer if any information is incorrect or you have any questions. Once the purchase agreement has been signed, closing on a house can take an average of 50 days when a buyer is using a mortgage as of February 2023, and as little as 1 week for all cash purchases. Next steps include the home inspection, appraisal, and final paperwork. But the time required to process and underwrite the loan will be in large part what dictates the length of your closing. Completing the loan application typically takes 1 day and can be part of the mortgage preapproval process.

This could change your debt-to-income ratio—which means more recalculations. Be your family’s home-buying hero by knowing exactly what to expect when closing on a house. With a final walkthrough that reveals new damage to the home or unfinished repairs that the seller had guaranteed, your closing date could be jeopardized while you try to address the problems. The home may also be in too poor of shape for your lender’s stipulations. In this case, the seller must perform needed repairs, or you’ll need to apply for a home renovation mortgage.

Underwriting (1 – 3 days)

Once all of the steps above are complete, the final step is to close escrow. It may only take a single day, but signing paperwork is a process in and of itself. The closing agent could be an escrow officer, a closer, the title company, or a real estate lawyer.

Closing is the final step before that house is finally freakin’ yours! Your closing date is the day you become the legal owner of your new home. Working with an adviser may come with potential downsides such as payment of fees (which will reduce returns). There are no guarantees that working with an adviser will yield positive returns. The existence of a fiduciary duty does not prevent the rise of potential conflicts of interest.

Unfortunately, the appraisal is also a part of the process that can hold the deal up when there are long wait times for appraisers. Keep all your financial documentation organized and available for follow-ups from your lender. Having everything you need together in one place will keep these requests quick and keep you on track with your closing timeline.

Other factors, such as our own proprietary website rules and whether a product is offered in your area or at your self-selected credit score range, can also impact how and where products appear on this site. While we strive to provide a wide range of offers, Bankrate does not include information about every financial or credit product or service. On average, home buyers in Los Angeles will pay closing costs totaling between 2% and 3% of the purchase price. These closing fees will vary from transaction to transaction based on the lender you choose, sale price, size of the mortgage loan, location, property taxes, and other details specific to the home. On closing day, you’ll typically sit down with all parties involved — including sellers, lenders and real estate attorneys — to fill out a pile of paperwork and pay your closing costs.

What are home closing costs in California? What to know Los Angeles Times

how long does closing on a house take

Replacing an HVAC system can cost $20,000 or more — and that’s just one of the things you can expect to replace at some point. An inspection can identify a serious hidden problem that could impact the home’s value. You also want to know what you’re getting into in terms of repairs, upgrades, and permits. It can take up to a week to book a standard inspection, and most inspectors will spend two to four hours in the home.

Note that the seller usually pays the real estate agent’s commission. As a condition of offering a mortgage, lenders will require that an independent appraisal is performed. If the house doesn’t appraise for at least the negotiated purchase price, it could put the deal in jeopardy or cause delays.

How Long Does Closing Day Take?

Before taking that last step, discuss the situation with your real estate agent and have them discuss the situation with the seller if you don’t want your purchase to fall through. You’ll need to negotiate a new closing date and you may have to compensate the seller for the inconvenience. If they’re not willing to work with you, you may lose your earnest money deposit, making the savings from changing lenders a wash. It depends, in part, on what kind of financing the buyer is using to purchase the home. There are lots of parties involved in the mortgage lending process. A lender will want to take a close look at the buyer’s financial situation to fully approve their loan.

What Is an Easement in Real Estate? A Guide for Homebuyers

Many buyers find themselves frustrated when the lender keeps requesting the same (or sometimes similar) documents. The back-and-forth can take days, especially when you miss something crucial in a document, or make errors — even minor misspellings can hold things up. It’s up to you to make sure the property is in decent condition and worth what you’re paying for it. For that reason, it can be a bit riskier to purchase a home in cash — but it’s also nearly guaranteed to be faster. There are advantages to closing at the beginning or end of the month, so the right time depends on which benefits matter more to you. If you close at the beginning of the month, you'll probably get a smoother, faster close because your lender may be less busy.

A service like HomeLight’s Simple Sale can provide you with an all-cash offer within 24 hours, without the need to prep, stage, or show your home. There’s a lot that has to happen in that 50-ish-day window of time between offer and closing. Stephen Donaldson, a real estate attorney and founder of The Donaldson Law Firm in New York, breaks down approximately how long each step takes along the way. According to the loan software firm ICE Mortgage Technology, it took 50 days on average to close on a purchase loan for a house, as of February 2023. For example, if you list your home on Jan. 1 and accept an offer on Jan. 24, you can expect to close on the sale of your home somewhere between the end of February to mid-March.

On average, it takes about 30 – 45 days to close on a home, from filling out your mortgage loan application to showing up at the closing table. Closing day, the day you sign your final paperwork, lasts about 1 – 2 hours as long as everything goes as planned. Unless you are an all-cash buyer, it is a good idea to get pre-approved for a mortgage before you start searching for a home.

On the other hand, smaller local lenders often have shorter closing times because they tend to be nimbler and more adept at navigating the quirks of their local market. Reviewing a loan application and offering preapproval

how long does closing on a house take

The purpose of an appraisal is to ensure that the sale price of the home aligns with its fair market value. This step has the potential to impact closing if the home appraises for less than the purchase price — and/or the amount you’re seeking to borrow. So if you don’t have the cash to make up the difference, called an appraisal gap, your deal could be tanked. It’s possible to buy a house with cash and move the sale along quickly. If you’ve partnered with an experienced team of real estate agent, escrow agent, and title company, closing on a home that you’re buying with cash will be a much simpler process than working with a lender.

In order for any real estate sale to close, the title must be clear — that is, free of any claims or doubts about ownership. That means if there is any sort of lien or claim to the property, the closing cannot proceed until that issue is cleared up. The Internal Revenue Service or the state government might place liens on a property if the seller owes back income or property taxes. Contingencies in a real estate contract allow either one of the parties to back out of the deal if certain specified conditions are not met. This could include a home inspection that reveals serious problems with the home or the purchase being contingent upon the buyer securing financing (see above) or the seller acquiring a new home.

The earnest money goes to the seller as compensation if the buyer backs out. Junk fees are charges that a lender imposes at the closing of a mortgage, and are often unexpected by the borrower and not clearly explained by the lender. Junk fees include administrative fees, application review fees, appraisal review fees, ancillary fees, processing fees, and settlement fees. At least three days before closing, your lender must give you your closing disclosure. It’s the companion to the loan estimate you received after you applied for your home loan, and you should compare the two documents to keep your lender honest. First, there's a huge sigh of relief when you're approved for a loan by a lender (or better yet, approved by three lenders so you compare and choose the best offer).

At closing, you'll carefully review and then sign all of the legal documents required for the lender to issue a mortgage and transfer the ownership of the property to you. The loan proceeds equal to the purchase price will also be distributed to the seller. Similarly, getting a home inspection as soon as possible will give you time to deal with any unexpected issues that might pop up.

The nine-day ‘Future of Fragrance Experience’ will showcase the Puig-owned beauty brand’s six-piece perfume range in an “extraordinary magical universe”. Charlotte Tilbury is hosting a pop-up in London, UK, for the launch of her 'mood-boosting' fragrance collection. Now, my dresser drawers are littered with perfume bottles, and I'm constantly testing out new products, which is why when I heard Charlotte Tilbury was again dipping her toe into the world of fragrance, I was intrigued.

NEW! BEAUTIFUL SKIN ISLAND GLOW EASY TANNING DROPSFAIR TO MEDIUM

The Charlotte Tilbury team (Exeter Darlings) will be conducting a masterclass using Charlotte Tilbury products. The event includes prosecco and nibbles, a makeup masterclass and the opportunity to purchase Charlotte Tilbury products in person. Charlotte Tilbury’s emotion-inspired fragrances were created in collaboration with IFF perfumers Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion and Juliete Karagueuzoglou. The scents – Love Frequency, Joyphoria, More Sex, Calm Bliss, Cosmic Power and Magic Energy – have been designed to evoke a range of feelings, including joy, love and calm. The brand also has a fragrance finder that can help you make a choice you'll love. Although I would like to have more sex and increase my feelings of love, unfortunately, those weren't the scents that spoke to me.

With over 30 years experience, Charlotte Tilbury MBE is the world's number 1 makeup artist and British beauty entrepreneur. Charlotte established Charlotte Tilbury Beauty in 2013, which is now a record-breaking beauty brand that has won over 400 awards. “My darlings, what if I told you you are about to embark on the most ground-breaking, revolutionary, incredible fragrance journey of your life? The rooms aim to deliver a sensorial experience, covering scent, sight and sound, to “manifest the emotion that each fragrance enhances,” read a statement from the brand. While it was fun testing all of these fragrances, I didn't particularly notice any big emotional changes while wearing them. I even tried wearing More Sex and Love combined when hanging out with a romantic partner, but it didn't seem to do much on his end.

Charlotte Tilbury opens ‘magical’ pop-up for new fragrance launch

While my favorite scents were Joyphoria and Magic Energy, my least favorites might end up being your favorites. When I was growing up, perfumes were a big no-no in my house. My mom has a "sensitive nose," and if she got even the slightest whiff of something fragrant, you'd know about it. (I don't mean this in a good way.) I was essentially perfume-deprived until I was old enough to move out of the house, and in all honesty, it wasn't until a few years ago that I started getting more interested in perfumes. The makeup pro says the product “never sits in” fine lines or pores. All products on the CharlotteTilbury.com have a tab showing the ingredients.

Do Cruise Ships Have Wi-Fi?

do cruise boats have wifi

To ensure that all passengers can enjoy a reliable Wi-Fi connection, it is important to respect the bandwidth limitations onboard. Avoid excessive usage of data-intensive applications, such as video streaming or downloading large files, during peak times. This consideration allows everyone to have a fair share of the available bandwidth and ensures a smoother online experience for all. In case of any wifi connectivity issues while on a cruise ship, passengers can reach out to the ship’s IT department or customer service desk for assistance. They are trained to troubleshoot common problems and can provide guidance on resolving connectivity issues. It is also advisable to check if the device’s wifi settings are correctly configured and up to date to ensure compatibility with the ship’s wifi network.

This option is ideal for those who may not require constant connectivity but still want the flexibility to use Wi-Fi when necessary. Pay-per-use options give you the freedom to choose when and how much you want to use Wi-Fi, catering to your individual needs. Having access to the internet while on a cruise allows passengers to stay informed about current events, local news, and updates from around the world. Whether it is checking headlines, reading articles, or watching videos, wifi on cruise ships provides a convenient way to stay updated while enjoying the serenity of the open sea.

Cruise Ship Wi-Fi Comparison Table (Including the Different Type of Wi-Fi Service Offered)

Cunard Line offers two internet plans for passengers, Essential and Premium. Most major cruise lines and cruise operators have partnerships with Starlink, including Royal Caribbean Group, Carnival Corporation, and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. Traditional cruise ship internet relies on medium and high earth orbit satellite providers such as SES, O3b, and Marlink. You can still connect to the ship’s WiFi while your phone is in airplane mode. Just enable WiFi on your device after switching to airplane mode, and you can connect to the ship’s network. That’s because your internet connection relies on the number of satellites the ship can connect.

Types of Wi-Fi services available on cruise ships

During these times, the number of users connected to the wifi network is generally lower, resulting in faster speeds and better connectivity. Depending on the package you purchase, you can stream movies and music on a cruise. The basic package doesn’t include video streaming or unlimited internet access. Windstar Cruises has aimed to implement Starlink across most of its fleet by now, midway through 2023.

Gold-level and higher members of the Seven Seas Society and Concierge Suites and higher receive up to four logins/devices per suite. The Costa App is similar to most cruise lines, offering cruisers the ability to manage their cruise before and during the sailing. No Wi-Fi plan is required to use most features of the app while onboard. The Celebrity Cruises app allows guests to preview menus, find venues onboard, book shore excursions and plan their entire cruise. Checking in and performing the onboard safety drill are easier with the app. It allows fast web browsing, less time spent waiting for pages to load and video-streaming capabilities with access to Netflix, YouTube, FaceTime and Skype.

Carnival Cruise Line offers guests the option of three plans via the line's satellite providers. If you don't need to stay connected while on board, head into port and find a restaurant, bar or mall with free Wi-Fi. Ask crew members on the ship about the best places for free Wi-Fi in port; they often know. Or, use apps like WiFi Map that show you locations of nearby hotspots when you're in port. Seabourn, the luxury cruise line is the newest cruise line to be equipped with Starlink internet.

do cruise boats have wifi

The speed and reliability of cruise ship wifi can vary depending on several factors. While cruise lines strive to provide a fast and stable internet connection, it is important to keep in mind that the bandwidth is shared among all the guests onboard. During peak usage times when many passengers are connected simultaneously, the internet speed may be slower.

If you're willing to pay a premium, most mainstream cruise lines offer a solid Wi-Fi connection on cruises, including Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. MSC Cruises employs both Starlink and SES O3b for its internet connections. Currently, two-thirds of the MSC fleet (including its U.S.-based ships) utilize Starlink, with the rest scheduled to do the same by May 2024. Packages can be purchased per device for basic browsing only, or browsing and streaming, each with no data restrictions.

For $50 for a full 30 days, customers get 50 minutes and unlimited texts while cruising on select ships. It might even allow you to skip the Wi-Fi on board entirely in some cases. The Email plan is 200 MB, which would amount to between 15 and 60 minutes of time online. The Surfing plan provides 500 MB, suitable for light surfing for approximately five hours.

Offering reliable connections on board is a mist nowadays to remain competitive and ensure that travelers have all the amenities and services they need while sailing. Wireless internet is available in most public areas and cabins on all Windstar ships, and passengers can access computers onboard. High-bandwidth online activities are not recommended by the line. Regent provides one complimentary login per suite that is limited to one device at a time.

Some even provide unlimited data or unlimited access until noon each day (per device) when purchased through certain roaming networks. Keep these tips in mind when deciding which cruise ship Wi-Fi plan will work best for you and enjoy an internet connection that is both fast and secure during your vacation. Many cruise ships now offer Wi-Fi capabilities onboard, but there are a few things to consider before deciding on the best option.

In general, expect to pay about $20-30 per day, per device for wi-fi access. But before you head out into the middle of the ocean, there’s likely a few things you’ll want to know about getting online on a cruise. We’ve answered some of the biggest questions so that you know what to expect once you board your ship. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available to all Explora Journeys guests. There are plenty of cards that’ll do this, but an especially popular choice is the Bank of America® Premium Rewards® credit card.

Pre-paid packages offer convenience, as you can enjoy uninterrupted connectivity without worrying about additional charges. They are especially beneficial for those who require regular internet access throughout their cruise. The cost of wifi on cruise ships can also be influenced by the destination the ship visits. When sailing outside of regular coverage areas, such as in remote regions or during transatlantic crossings, the ship may rely on satellite connections, which can be more expensive. In contrast, when visiting destinations with developed internet infrastructure, the cost of wifi may be more affordable. It is advisable to check with the cruise line regarding the pricing and availability of wifi in specific destinations.

Lifeboat shipboard Wikipedia

cruise liner lifeboats

Cruise ships have also been designed to allow lifeboats and life rafts to deploy even if the ship is listing up to 20 degrees. The remaining 25% of passengers that can't be accommodated in the traditional lifeboats can use cruise ship inflatable life rafts. These are generally designated for crew members, while guests will board the lifeboats first — though rafts can also be used for guests if necessary. The maximum capacity of a cruise ship lifeboat is 150 people, according to the International Maritime Organization's International Life-Saving Appliance Code.

Lifeboat Equipment and Supplies

By prioritizing equipment testing and replacement, cruise ships can better prepare for emergency situations. Maintaining the life-saving vessels is like tending to the guardian angels of the sea, ensuring they’re always ready to sail to the rescue. Lifeboat maintenance poses unique challenges due to their exposure to harsh marine conditions and the need for constant readiness. Regular inspections are crucial to identify any wear and tear and ensure that all components are in optimal working condition. Amidst the chaotic dance of vacationers and crew members, one can’t help but marvel at the calculated artistry of cramming as many bodies as humanly possible into a floating vessel. Maximum occupancy on a cruise ship is determined by a variety of factors, including lifeboat regulations.

Are There Enough Lifeboats for Everyone in the Event of an Emergency

Whether you’re in the mood for a romantic dinner at a specialty restaurant or a casual meal at the buffet, the ship has it all. The attentive and friendly staff ensure that every meal is a delightful experience. From the elegant dining rooms to the casual eateries, there is something to please every palate.

Regular inspections performed by qualified crew members are mandated by international regulations such as the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) convention. These inspections, typically scheduled weekly or monthly, aim to detect and rectify any potential issues early. Recovering a lifeboat back onto the ship after a drill or emergency is equally important and requires precision. The recovery process is usually initiated by positioning the ship to create a lee – a calm area on the downwind side of the ship, to protect the lifeboat from wind and waves. All this equipment is regularly checked and maintained to ensure it is in working condition should an emergency arise. These items, hopefully never needed, are invaluable during a maritime emergency.

Additionally, life rafts are designed to keep everyone on board safe for at least 24 hours, providing enough time for rescue efforts to take place. To keep their knowledge of lifeboat operations up to date, members of the cruise crew participate in frequent training as well as weekly and monthly lifeboat inspections. The 370-person catamaran lifeboats that are utilized on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis-class ships are equipped with restrooms, while traditional 150-person lifeboats do not. Lifeboats are situated outdoors on both sides of the cruise ship, usually kept on or slightly above a middle deck, with an accessible outdoor promenade for people to board. This position is perfect because it’s close to a lot of public indoor and outdoor activities and services, as well as the upper- and lower-deck cabins.

With sound design and training, crews can successfully evacuate passengers from even the largest ships using on-board lifeboats. Responsible crew members oversee loading passengers into lifeboats according to carefully planned procedures. The priority is getting boats lowered and away from the ship safely as quickly as possible. Despite its smaller size, it offers a wide range of amenities and facilities, including restaurants, pools, entertainment venues, and comfortable staterooms for a memorable cruising experience.

These advancements have greatly improved fuel consumption, reducing the environmental impact of modern ships. By optimizing the shape of the hull and reducing resistance to water flow, ships can glide through the water with less effort, resulting in lower fuel consumption. As the cruise ship industry continues to grow, it’s fascinating to explore the dimensions of these massive vessels. When it comes to length comparison, the Titanic, which was once considered the largest ship in the world, measured 882 feet from bow to stern. Lifeboats should be inspected and certified regularly to ensure they are in proper working condition. The inspection frequency and certification process depend on various factors such as regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and the ship’s maintenance schedule.

How many passengers can the smallest Princess cruise ship accommodate?

According to some maritime safety advocates, cruise ships should have enough lifeboats for 100% or more of the people on board. These SOLAS lifeboat requirements provide an important emergency evacuation minimum for the massive populations onboard cruise ships. But as we’ll see next, some industry experts argue even more capacity is needed. Rafts are temporary habitats until passengers can transfer to lifeboats or be rescued.

It’s important to note that while life rafts may not be as comfortable as lifeboats, they are a necessary safety measure on board cruise ships. In the event of an emergency, every second counts, and having enough life rafts for the crew can mean the difference between life and death. This collaborative approach ensures that industry standards and regulations are met while considering the specific characteristics and operational needs of each cruise ship.

In these instances, passengers who were not as mobile would be prioritized in the lifeboats on the opposite side, while physically fit and healthy passengers would join the crew in the life rafts. So, let’s put your mind at ease and take a look at whether cruise ships have enough lifeboats. The majority of lifeboats are lowered from the boat deck on the ship (once the passengers are on board) by cradle arms that swing out and lower the boats onto the water using cables.

This passenger was lucky enough to get a great view of a lifeboat being launched into the sea from the Viking Ocean cruise ship. This might not seem like enough for a cruise ship that can hold over 6000 passengers and crew. Lifeboat tenders are more expensive to maintain than regular lifeboats because of the additional equipment that they carry.

Regular inspections and drills ensure that the lifeboats are in proper working condition and can be deployed swiftly when needed. These maintenance procedures include checking the lifeboat’s buoyancy, propulsion systems, and emergency equipment. Get ready to experience the adrenaline rush of participating in lifeboat drills – they’re a crucial part of ensuring your safety during potential emergencies at sea. To adhere to lifeboat regulations, cruise ships are equipped with an adequate number of lifeboats. These life-saving vessels are strategically placed throughout the ship, ready to be deployed in the event of an emergency.

It improves the outlook for future performance since those customers can become repeat cruisers. But investors need to take this company's talking point with a grain of salt. The numbers are impressive today, but they probably won't remain this impressive for very long. To find uncharted flavors, never before seen on land, we had to dive deep. Far below the waves we met a mermaid who swims the depths of the oceans to find the long-lost treasures of ancient civilizations. You’ve gotta trust us… or you can join us at The Golden Mermaid™, where amazing drinks are just the beginning. Cocktail recipes inspired by precious metals and gemstones, drinks served in exquisite glassware, plus garnishes like edible glitter to remind you of sunlight streaming through the waves from up above! All this glitz pairs perfectly with live music, making this the perfect place to relax with an elegant drink before or after dinner. Beaches, boardwalks and piers were just a little of what inspired us to create this zone that serves up just the right flavors and feels.

We designed Carnival Magic balcony staterooms for maximum sea breeze and the most stunning views, and this stateroom features a balcony that's even wider than our standard balcony. Enjoy the extra outdoor space, along with all the standard Carnival stateroom amenities. The benefits don’t end there — your little girls and boys eat free in most onboard specialty restaurants and get a free evening of Night Owls babysitting service, so you can enjoy a little alone time.
